In this extreme close-up I’m roughly indicating the tiles on the roof in an appropriately watery colour and tone.

this watercolor painting is one of my first watercolor paintings and one of my first roses. there is value, movement and with the black behind the roses makes them look like they pop out so form could also go in there too. size- 8×13
