Here’s a peek at a brand new artwork I’ve been creating. "Open Road" is mixed media, including tissue, ink, acrylic, and watercolor. The piece measures 10×10, on heavy canvas board. I’m still adding a few finishing touches, but enjoying where I’m headed!

"Open Road" was inspired by the Melange team on Etsy, and its January creative prompt of Beginning. The view of an open road always makes me think of freedom and heading into an unknown future . . . a new beginning, for sure. See the other Beginning-inspired pieces at the Melange blog here.
